We worked hard on this project, and we did the best we could. We
split into groups of two or three for each component. We really
worked more as a team, each of us helping the other in all of the
components. Everyone pulled their weight and we ended up with a really imaginative and
creative idea for a cancer vaccine. We are very proud of all the
work we have accomplished. We were hindered by the lack of
a mentor, but we gave our all and we personally believe we rose to the
challenge and surpassed the goals we had set for this project.
We used the internet a great deal, from the pictures we used, to the
actual material that we based our ideas upon. We also used the
internet to locate a mentor, though unsuccessful, it was an invaluable
source nonetheless. We attempted, many times, to get a mentor but to no avail. We
did get a little response from a few of them, though mostly they just said
they didn't have enough time to help us. We have given links to the
letters we received from our potential mentors. We only linked the
e-mails of the people that responded to our requests of a mentor.
